Conference Purpose

To improve end-of-life care and conditions across Nebraska by providing education on end-of-life issues for persons caring for patients and families with chronic illness or at the end of life.

CEUs
Continuing Education Credits have been approved for nursing, social work, licensed mental health practitioners, nursing home administrators, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Click here to view details.

The 2010 Annual Conference is paperless! 

The Cyber Station, supported by Prairie Haven Hospice in Scottsbluff, offers attendees a place to check e-mail and print handouts. All session handouts provided by NHPCP will be available on our website, nehospice.org, two weeks prior to the conference and up to six months after the conference. A link to the handouts page will be e-mailed to registered attendees who provide their e-mail address during registration two weeks prior to the conference.

The Exhibit Hall will be open Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (optional exhibitor participation), Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Hotel Parking
City parking garages located on east and west side of Embassy Suites for a daily charge of $6. Hotel valet parking charge of $15.

If you need any of the auxiliary aids or services identified in the American with Disabilities Act to fully participate in the program, please submit your requested accommodations with your registration form or call the NHPCP office at 402/477-0204.

Registration Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. A $50 processing fee will apply to all cancellations. Cancellations on or before March 19, 2010 will receive a full refund less the processing fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations postmarked after March 19, 2010. Substitutions are welcome; please submit your request in writing. We reserve the right to substitute faculty or to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. If the conference must be canceled, registrants will receive full credits or refunds of the paid registration fees. No refunds can be made for lodging, airfare, or any other expense related to attending the conference.
